Midsummer Dream House publishes my poem “Ampules in Medias Res”

Some of the images in my poem “Ampules in Medias Res” channel an electronic music show I saw last summer. The artist, Chaia, had some moving stage banter about the history of the Jewish diaspora. She plays experimental Yiddish ambient [I’m All Lost In, #89, 6/28/26.]

Given her re-mix aesthetic, I don’t think she’ll mind that I ended up sampling her into my own story.
